Barack Obama:  First African American President: leader of the free world   

Barack Hussein Obama II; born August 4, 1961 is the 44th President of the United States. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and the famous Harvard Law School, where he was president of the Harvard Law Review. Two years after graduating, Obama was hired in Chicago as director of the Developing Communities Project (DPC). Barack help set up job training programs, a college preparatory tutoring program, and a tenants rights organization. From 1985 to 1988  Barack worked tireless for the low income people that live on the Chicago south side.  Barack  also worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.  In 1997 the people of Chicago elected Barack Hussein Obama II as their State Senator for his hard work in his community.
